Wow Poodle
Health Statement
We guarantee that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale (excluding potential intestinal parasites). The puppy will have received all age-appropriate core immunizations, deworming treatments, and a health check conducted by a licensed veterinarian (a health certificate will be provided). Minor health issues caused by environmental changes (e.g., stress-induced diarrhea) are not valid grounds for a refund or return. Buyers must report any health concerns within 7 days of purchase, accompanied by a licensed veterinarian’s examination and diagnosis.
Diseases Covered Under This Warranty
The following genetic conditions are covered, as they are primarily inherited and not significantly influenced by environmental factors:
-
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) – Inherited vision loss leading to blindness.
-
Portosystemic Shunt (PSS) – Congenital liver condition affecting toxin filtration.
-
Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) – Congenital heart defect causing circulatory issues.
-
Congenital Epilepsy – Seizure disorders with a genetic basis.
-
Severe Hip Dysplasia (Grade III-IV, confirmed by X-ray) – Developmental malformation impacting mobility.

Liability Disclaimer
The seller will not be held responsible for:
-
Any health conditions explicitly listed as not covered under the genetic health warranty.
-
Health issues arising due to buyer negligence, such as accidents, illnesses, or improper care.
-
Veterinary costs incurred by the buyer.
-
Any incidents, injuries, illnesses, or unforeseen events that occur during any form of transportation, including but not limited to air cargo, ground shipping, or in-cabin transport, after the puppy has been handed over to the buyer or their designated carrier. All transportation risks are assumed by the buyer.
-
The puppy’s adult size, weight, or coat color. While the seller provides reasonable predictions based on experience, parental size, and genetic background, the final outcome is influenced by multiple factors, including genetics and buyer care practices. Any estimate provided is for reference only and not a guarantee.
-
The puppy’s suitability for breeding. Certain conditions, such as cryptorchidism (one or both testicles not descended) or mild patellar luxation (Grade I-II), may be present at the time of sale. These conditions do not affect the puppy’s overall health or quality of life and are not valid reasons for a refund or return. The buyer acknowledges that toy breeds may have a higher likelihood of mild patellar luxation, which may naturally improve as the puppy grows or may not affect their mobility throughout their lifetime. The seller is not responsible for any future infertility issues or the puppy’s ability to breed.
Genetic Disease Warranty
We provide a one-year genetic health warranty for the puppy, covering severe inherited genetic conditions that significantly impact the puppy’s quality of life. If a covered genetic defect is diagnosed within one year of purchase, the buyer must provide a written report from a licensed veterinarian confirming the condition. Upon verification, the buyer may choose to return the puppy and select a replacement puppy of equal or lesser value from the next available litter.
Conditions NOT Covered Under This Warranty
The following conditions are either common in toy breeds, influenced by environmental factors, or manageable with veterinary care. Therefore, they are not included in the genetic health warranty:
-
Retained Baby Teeth (Double Row Teeth) – Common in toy breeds; influenced by diet and chewing habits.
-
Mild to Moderate Patellar Luxation (Grade I-II) – Often influenced by environment, activity levels, and weight.
-
Patellar luxation Grade III-IV requires surgery within one year of purchase. If determined by a licensed veterinarian to be genetically caused and not due to external injury, it will be covered under warranty.
-
-
Cryptorchidism (One or Both Testicles Not Descended) – This condition does not affect the dog’s quality of life and is not covered under this contract.
-
Hypoglycemia (Low Blood Sugar) – Typically due to improper feeding schedules rather than genetics.
-
Soft Cartilage or Growth Disorders – Often caused by overfeeding, excessive calcium intake, or improper exercise.
-
Parasites, Kennel Cough, or Other Common Puppy Ailments – Treatable and unrelated to genetics.
-
Allergies or Sensitivities – Reactions to food or environmental factors.
-
Size, Weight, or Coat Color Variations – Growth and final appearance are not guaranteed.
Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 business days of receipt. If a significant health issue is diagnosed, the puppy may be returned for a full refund. Buyers are responsible for all transportation costs related to the return. Failure to complete the examination within the specified period voids the health warranty.
Buyers are responsible for all parasite treatments and must ensure proper care, including providing vet-recommended food and fresh water, regular check-ups and vaccinations, and adequate shelter and protection from the elements.
